Luxury Boutique Hotel in Montezuma

A 16-room boutique hotel and yoga retreat on the hill above Montezuma, a five-minute walk from the waterfalls and a few minutes from the beach, operating since 2009 and sold as a going concern.

The property. A main house that serves as the common area where guests share meals, with an ocean-view yoga deck and a saltwater infinity pool; a second, Balinese-style yoga deck; 16 rooms and cabins for up to 44 guests; and three spa rooms. Most rooms have ocean views. All have ceiling fans, air conditioning and private bathrooms, and some have outdoor showers. The sellers state that non-toxic materials, organic fabrics and local artisans were used throughout.

The business. The kitchen serves organic meals and the spa runs treatment programs; the retreat has been written up in Forbes, Condé Nast Traveler and Elle, according to the owners, and has a returning clientele after more than ten years of operation.
